Renault India has announced that it will hike prices of all its models from January 2026, becoming one of the latest automobile manufacturers to announce a price increase before bringing in the new year. The French carmaker said the hike in ex-showroom prices would range up to 2 per cent across models and variants. The company said that it has made these changes owing to increased input costs, logistics costs and a difficult macroeconomic environment for the automotive sector. Despite the hike, Renault has said that it is committed to continuing to offer competitive pricing and a strong after-sales support value proposition. Presently, the Kwid, Triber, and Kiger – a range of hatchbacks, MPV and compact SUVs – make up Renault’s mass-market product line-up in India.

In addition, Renault will effectuate the launch of the new Duster (next generation on 26 January 2026, a significant milestone for the company in India) to further enhance momentum. The next-generation Duster will further consolidate Renault’s strong presence in the heart of the market, with a completely fresh and uncharacteristically assertive body design which is more modern and dynamic. Renault’s robust dealership network also reinforces this growth, which comprises close to 350 sales outlets and over 450 service touch points, along with in excess of 250 Workshop on Wheels locations across India. With this update, Renault has followed numerous other carmakers which have announced an increase in pricing over the last couple of days on account of sustained cost pressures in the auto industry.
