Tata Motors has at last shown details of the base-spec version ibid all-new Sierra, which helps us get a full 360. The post Here is how Tata’s All-New Multi-Purpose Vehicle Tata Sierra Base-Specification looks Smart+ variant. The mid-size SUV is priced at Rs. 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and comes post the phased price announcement approach of Tata over the last few weeks.
Designed for one of the competitive segments, the Tata Sierra competes against rivals like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, MG Astor, Honda Elevate and Tata’s Curvv as well.

The Smart+ variant is available with two engines. The Revotron turbo-petrol costs Rs. 11.49 lakh while the Kryojet diesel is priced at Rs. 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Both come exclusively with a six-speed manual gearbox; there’s no auto offer at this level.

As the entry version, the Tata Sierra Smart+ is already extensive. Important exterior and interior features are bi-LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs and tail lamps, flush door handles, dual-tone paint, electrically adjustable ORVMs with side indicators, powered tailgate, rear sunshades, rear AC vents, Auto-dimming IRVM, EPB with auto-hold, 45 W Type-C charger, a ll-wheel disc brakes, Power windows for all four doors.

Tata has gone all out on safety, too. The base trim now comes with six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP (electronic stability program), hill assist control, hydraulic brake assist and traction stability control, along with reverse parking sensors, height-adjustable seat belts and a puncture repair kit as standard.

The Tata Sierra Smart+ is offered in three colour options: Pristine White, Pure Grey and Coorg Clouds.
With a good list of features and yet an aggressive pricing strategy in place for the base model of the Tata Sierra, it wants to ensure that there is no time between the buyer who wishes to make him a member of this segment from Tata Motors, but without compromising on safety or what’s really important.
