Bookings for the all-new Tata Sierra are now open, making it the return of one of the brand’s most iconic nameplates in thoroughly modern form in India. Customers who are interested in booking the SUV can do so by paying a booking amount of Rs. 21,000. The Sierra was recently launched locally on 25 November and be secured in six variants with a decision of three powertrain setup.
Tata Sierra New Tata Sierra is being priced in phases at the following prices (ex-showroom) –Rs. 11.49 lakh –Rs. 21.49 lakh. The range topping variant is equipped with Tata’s TGDi petrol motor, which comes with an automatic transmission, targeting performance with a dose of civility. The SUV will be delivered starting 15th January.

The Tata Sierra features a plush and tech-rich interior. Key highlights are a three-screen setup, Level 2 ADAS, connected car tech, a powered driver seat, and a powered tailgate. To add a nostalgic touch, Tata has created a contemporary take on the iconic Alpine glass roof to pay homage to the original Sierra in a more modern style.
The Sierra consolidates Tata’s second solid entry into the C-SUV space, as it slots over the Tata Curvv in the brand’s SUV hierarchy. It competes with more popular Hyundai Creta, Kia Carens Clavis, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Honda Elevate, MG Astor and siblings Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun, so a big new option here for buyers in this space.
