Pre-bookings for the Mahindra XUV 7XO, which is expected to be launched in India next year, have now been opened in India for a token amount of Rs. 21,000. Prices are expected to be revealed next month with the refreshed SUV expected to launch in January 2026. The XUV 7XO is more or less a consecutive mid-life facelift of the best-selling XUV700, with subtle new aesthetics and features, but largely carrying over a tried-and-tested mechanical kit.
Spy shots and official teasers in recent weeks hint that the XUV 7XO will feature a look similar to the electric XEV 9S, which will incorporate a redesigned front end that might contain full-width LED DRLs, bumper-mounted LED headlamps, new dual-tone alloy wheels, and tail lamps that look to incorporate honeycomb-style inserts. Mahindra might also offer new exterior colour options as part of the update.

On the inside, the cabin is expected to be treated with a new layout, accompanied by a new triple-screen layout; updated upholstery themes are also expected in the cabin. Potential new features include a boss-mode electric co-driver seat, rear window sunblinds, and second-row foldable tray tables.

The underpinnings of the XUV 7XO are expected to remain identical to the XUV 700, meaning it will continue with the same 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and the 2.2-litre diesel engines, offered with manual and automatic gearboxes.
