Tata Motors readies facelifted Punch EV in 2026: Compact electric SUV engulfs larger battery pack The refreshed model will make its debut with the upcoming Sierra EV, and it will be mostly a visual and feature-focused update with no mechanical changes anticipated.
Exterior updates are likely to be minimal, but there will be revisions in line with Tata’s latest EV design language for the 2026 Punch EV facelift. The electric SUV might sport updated bumpers, new LED lighting elements with a modern design, and fresh alloy wheel designs for a more premium look.
Tata is likely to make a number of tech upgrades for the cabin. Expect a bigger touchscreen infotainment system, upgraded connectivity features, and digital key functionality. The facelift may also include a more powerful sound system, one with Dolby Atmos, improved upholstery, and upgraded interior materials for a plusher experience and an improved ambience in the cabin.
Although the powertrain will not change, these updates are intended to enhance the appeal of the Punch EV to keep it competitive in India’s ever-expanding pocket-friendly EV space.
