A new teaser for Mahindra’s upcoming XUV 7XO confirms many of the SUV’s upcoming interior upgrades prior to its official launch on 5 January 2026. Pre-bookings for this updated model are now available at a price of ₹21,000. This new teaser shows off the interior of the new XUV 7XO, which appears to be more technologically advanced and luxurious compared with the previous model. In addition, it shows some improvements to the interior design of the Mahindra XUV 7XO that are part of the Model’s mid-lifecycle update.
The new XUV 7XO shares some design elements with Mahindra’s XEV 9S. It will feature a triple-screen dashboard layout, similar to the layout found on the XEV 9S, and an upgraded version of Mahindra’s award-winning Adrenox+ infotainment system. Additionally, it will provide the ability to install rear entertainment screens, provide an “electric boss mode” for the electric-powered co-driver seat, feature a new dual-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated M logo, include rear sun blinds and feature a new beige-brown dual-tone cabin style. Other likely features will include a powered tailgate and cooled sliding seats with both manual and automatic transmission options.

On the exterior of the vehicle, Mahindra is expected to make visual changes that include an updated grille design and brand new alloy wheels (made by Zerocorp) and an updated tail lamp design. In terms of mechanical specifications, Mahindra XUV 7XO is expected to keep the current engine offerings for the XUV 7XO, which currently consist of both 2.0-litre diesel and 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engines, with manual and automatic transmission options.
