Honda Cars India has announced that it will raise prices for the entire model range from January 2026. This makes Honda, one of the first automakers to announce a price correction for the new year, a clear indication that the vehicle cost rose on the Indian turf.
Currently, Honda India has four models on sale: the Amaze, City, City Hybrid, and the Elevate SUV. However, the company has parasitically not mentioned the amount or percentage of price hike but addressed it to the rising input costs. The steep rise in cost of materials impacted the company so they had to pass these costs to consumers by increasing the price of their products, along with running costs such as logistics and operational costs.
Honda is also preparing to refresh its highly successful City sedan in 2026. Expect the facelifted variant to sport some light cosmetic updates and added features to help with sales as it continues to compete in the mid-size sedan space. Closer to the launch date, expect to know more about the refreshed City and the new pricing.
