Nissan India is ready to expand its portfolio with the official unveiling of the Gravite on 21 January 2026. This all-new B-segment, seven-seater MPV represents a pivotal step in the brand’s refreshed product strategy, filling a vital gap alongside the Magnite and the X-Trail. Built on the proven CMF-A platform shared with the Renault Triber, the Gravite is designed to provide a practical, budget-friendly solution for Indian families while maintaining a distinct identity within the Renault-Nissan Alliance.
While it shares its structural DNA with the Triber, official teasers highlight a much bolder and more contemporary aesthetic. The Gravite will sport a modern front fascia featuring a wide signature grille, inverted L-shaped LED DRLs, and rugged silver bumper inserts. The rear is equally sleek, characterized by a connected tail-lamp design and prominent model badging. Under the hood, it is expected to house a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine—delivering roughly $72\text{ PS}$ and $96\text{ Nm}$ of torque—paired with either a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox.
Inside, the Gravite will focus on versatility with a modular seating layout and family-centric features like an 8-inch touchscreen and a digital instrument cluster. Following its January debut, full pricing and detailed specifications are expected to follow, with showroom arrivals anticipated by March 2026. This launch marks the beginning of a busy year for Nissan, as the brand also prepares to reveal the Tekton compact SUV shortly after in February.
